This is the 28th year CCA has ministered the Gospel story through drama, music and dance. We saw many come to know Jesus, people set free, and believers encouraged! Such an honor to be part of the story of God. The entire cast and crew worked so hard and the Lord anointed each one! Praise Jesus… he is ALIVE!
Why is it that so many women tend to do their best to care for everyone around them but forget about them self? Have you done this? Maybe you’re a mom, possibly single, perhaps struggling just to provide a home with food on the table… but if you don’t make caring for yourself a priority you’ll be loving, providing, and serving others from a dry place – always tired, always needing just a little more: time, energy, money, hope, courage. I read something that spoke of a generation diseased with “Scarcity”. As in “nothing is ever enough” therefore no one is ever satisfied. We end up relying on our own strength and ability because we forget about the everlasting source! Jesus is right here, he is faithful, AND he wants us to be filled with his joy. He created us each with special care, having personalities and interests… so that we can partake in his creation!
He made me to enjoy the ocean, trails in the forest, music of all kinds, deep conversations, and so much more… but how much time do I give myself to partake in those things? Hardly any.
I have realized that I too must make caring for me a priority! I need to do the things I love daily. I need to spend quality time alone with my Savior. I need to love myself better, so that I can love others better.
So, CHEERS to turning 30 and having a revelation of what I need. #lifestylechange #timeforme #tolovebetter #forhisglory #imhisdaughter #jesusdates #wifematerial #hahahaha
I have been so incredibly honored to speak for special events and teach in classrooms of thinkers! I have stood on stages around the world. It’s actually very crazy to think about…
Through all those experiences I’ve learned something about myself. I am not a teacher. I am not a Preacher. I am not an entertainer.
BUT I am a…
For me, engaging an audience through story is thrilling and healing and fun! Sometimes the audience is my 3 year old nephew and he is the hero of my story. Sometimes the audience is a church body and I share a personal testimony of pain that takes a measure of vulnerability I didn’t think I possessed. Sometimes the audience is thrill seeking Jesus followers and I tell a true tale where God took me on an adventure in a faraway place!
Every time I give a talk I am amazed… if I have the courage to stand in front and open my mouth… He is faithful to put words on my tongue. Even more is my awe, that afterwards people always connect and are moved toward God as they journey through their own stories.
I am hopeful for more and more opportunities to share my stories and through them share the love of Jesus! I have a special desire to reach youth with my testimony, to share with women my journey to freedom and healing, and to share with those that don’t know where they stand with God to simply express who he is to me and how simple it can be to know him.
No gathering is too small… let me know if you’d like me to speak for your event. =)
